My Journey as a Fullstack Engineer

My journey into technology didn't start with code. It started with a screwdriver. Long before I built my first web app, I was the kid disassembling broken electronics and mechanical devices just to see how the "insides" talked to each other. Even my early days playing with Microsoft Office weren't just about typing; they were about exploring the boundaries of what a system could do.

That innate curiosity led me to a Diploma in Systems Engineering at Globatechs. There, I moved from taking apart hardware to understanding the architecture of complex systems. Eventually, that fascination shifted toward the web. I wanted to know how data traveled across the globe in milliseconds and how applications scaled to meet millions of users.

I learnt web development the same way I fixed gadgets: by breaking things, fixing them, and solving one problem at a time. Today, as a Full-Stack Developer, I don't just "ship features." I build with a systems-first mindset, prioritizing clean, maintainable code and thoughtful architecture.

My philosophy: No problem is impossible. With enough effort, iteration, and continuous learning, there is always a solution.

Off-the-clock: You will find me on the football pitch. I have found that engineering and football are surprisingly similar, both requiring discipline, a clear understanding of your role, and seamless collaboration to get the win. Well while having some fun definately.

My Professional Path

Dec 2022 - Present

Full-Stack Web Developer - Fundomni Ltd

At Fundomni Ltd, a Singapore-based company, I worked on the design, development, and scaling of multiple production systems, including AI-powered chatbot platforms and financial web applications such as FindTheLoan.com. I built backend services using Python and FastAPI for AI chat systems, working across both monolithic and microservices architectures, and designed inter-service communication to support reliable, real-time message delivery at scale, handling up to 100,000 concurrent users. Alongside this, I contributed to the backend architecture of FindTheLoan.com using PHP and Laravel, working on core system logic, database optimization, secure authentication, third-party integrations, and production stability. Across projects, I was involved in architectural planning, performance optimization, troubleshooting complex production issues, and making technical decisions that directly impacted scalability, reliability, and long-term maintainability.

Freelance Fullstack Web Developer - Upwork

As a freelance developer on Upwork, I delivered end-to-end web solutions for clients across multiple regions, working independently on projects ranging from e-commerce and e-learning platforms to financial and healthcare-related systems. I handled the full development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, system design, implementation, testing, and deployment, using technologies such as PHP, Laravel, React, Livewire, and modern frontend tooling. I managed timelines and deliverables directly with clients, maintained clear technical communication, and consistently met deadlines while collaborating remotely when required. This approach resulted in a 100% job completion rate, reflecting reliability, adaptability, and sustained client satisfaction.

Fullstack Web Developer - Kun's Logistics

At Kuns Logistics, I led the development of the company’s logistics and freight forwarding web platform, building both the public-facing website and internal systems that supported dispatch and load management operations. I designed and implemented backend functionality using PHP and MySQL, while developing responsive, standards-compliant interfaces with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Beyond core development, I worked on system integrations, CRM customization, administrative tooling, and ongoing UI and performance improvements. I was also involved in translating business requirements into technical solutions, guiding the project from design through deployment to support operational efficiency, security, and customer experience.
